Q. Will there be more Ghost Hunts offered?

A. Yes, APS will be looking into other locations as well as holding Ghost Hunts on each
Saturday in October.  Check back on our website for updates on new Ghost Hunt dates.

Q. How much does it cost?

A. The fee for a Ghost Hunt is dependent upon whether you register for the Class, the
Class/Ghost Hunt, or the Class/Ghost Hunt/Haunted House.  All fees must be paid at the
time your reservation is made.  Some Ghost Hunts may have a different charge,
depending on the location and event.

Q. Can I get my money back if I can't attend a hunt I'm scheduled for?

A. No, we do not give refunds for any reason.  You may, however, sell your spot to
another person, transfer it to someone else, or change your reservation to another time
slot, provided there is availability.  If you have problems selling your spot, contact
Alabama Paranormal Society.  We may have a waiting list and can sell your spot for you.

Q. Can I just show up at a ghost hunt after viewing the date online?

A. Yes, provided our website does not show that time slot is 'Sold Out'.  You must also
sign your waiver form upon arrival at the registration desk.  There is absolutely no
admittance without a signed Registration Form/Liability Waiver.

Q. Can I bring my children with me?
A. Yes, as long as they are over the age of 8 years old and their parent(s) sign a
Liability Waiver for them.

Q. Is the place really haunted?

A. We and many others say YES, it is.  Employees and visitors have had so many
paranormal experiences here.  Some came here looking for ghosts, others were here for
different reasons and experienced paranormal activity.  Many have photos and EVPs
supporting their claims.  We cannot guarantee a paranormal experiences because
paranormal activity does not always occur when we’d like it to.  Past investigations and
ghost hunts have proved to provide some very compelling evidence such as (Electronic
Voice Phenomena or EVPs) and photos, as well as personal experiences.  The is
definitely a great opportunity.

Q. What type of 'paranormal activity' can I expect?

A. Each person will experience different things.  Others that have investigated here have
experienced hearing voices on their audio recorders that were not heard at the time of
recording (Electronic Voice Phenomena or EVPs); hearing voices whisper in their ears;
seeing apparitions and shadow people; feeling as though they're being watched, seeing
green orbs of energy; spikes in EMF (Electro Magnetic Field) meters without
explanation; cold spots, banging noises, footsteps, hearing someone whistle, and/or a
statue head move by itself, all without a 'normal' explanation.  These are just a few
things experienced at Huntsville Depot Museum that have been reported.

Q. I see in the rules that Quija Boards are not allowed.  Why?

A. That is a personal preference of the APS Team since we do now allow them at all.

Q. On the ghost hunt, are we to stay with our group all night?

A. Yes, however everyone will disperse into different locations when reaching the
designated areas.

Q.  What can I expect during the Paranormal Class?
A.  You will learn a brief history of the property, some ghost hunting tips, listen to actual
EVPs from a previous investigation and learn the proper techniques and equipment
used for collecting EVPs, as well as the how-to upload them to your computer, and what
programs are best to use for analyzing.  This class will also familiarize you where the
“Hot Spots” are.

Q. What if I get an EVP or a photo I think is a ghost? How would I know?

A. APS Techs and other team members will remain in the Training Room during the
investigation and will be on-hand to look at your evidence to provide you with honest
feedback if it's paranormal or not. The team bases their reputations on being honest
debunkers, and will only "classify" something as paranormal, if they truly believe it is.
They exhaust every non-paranormal avenue, before declaring it paranormal.

Q. What time should I get there?

A. You should arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled class to allow time to
check-in and sign the Registration Form / Liability Waiver.

Q. What about smoking?

A. Smoking is only permitted in areas designated for smoking or in the parking lot. There
is absolutely NO SMOKING anywhere else on the premises for participants.

Q. What if my question does not appear here?

A. Feel free to contact us. The most effective and quickest route would be by email or
through this website's Contact Form.
