document paranormal activity in the Museum. Luggage Room, Caboose, and on the
premises where apparitions have been seen on numerous occasions.

from inhabitants that date back to the Civil War Era. Participants will have the opportunity
to thoroughly investigate the premises using their personal camera, video recorder,
audio recorder, EMF detector, and other equipment. Find out for yourself if the Huntsville
Depot Museum is really haunted.

Electronic Voice Phenomenon (EVP)

EVPs are recordings of disembodied voices or other sounds that are captured on a tape or
digital recorder, which are caused by an unexplainable source.  They are usually below the
human vocalization range and fall outside of the frequency range of 20-20,000 hertz.

EVPs are rated according to the clarity since they greatly vary.  Some are easier to hear than
others and can be in the form of single-words, phrases, and short sentences out of context to
a conversation taking place, or in response to questions being asked.  Often they are just
random noises such as sighs, groans, laughs, voices, or muffled conversations.

CLASS A EVP - can be heard clearly.  They are usually words or phrases leaving little dispute
over what is being said.

CLASS B EVP - content is a little harder to distinguish initially.

CLASS C EVP - requires the need for amplification and filtering, thereby leaving the EVP up for
debate.
